I'm Jacca, a filmmaker and cameraman specialising in underwater and marine cinematography. My areas of expertise cover a variety of techniques including drone aerials, stabilised gimbal systems and stabilised underwater macro motion-control, allowing me to use the right tools to cover the scene - whatever it may be. I am a qualified and experienced rebreather diver and freediver, giving me the skills to choose the right approach.
With a background in filmmaking and production, I was Assistant Producer on the BBC’s ‘Wild Isles’ - a 5-part landmark Attenborough natural history series. I currently freelance as a cameraman and 1st AC working in television and feature production, predominantly in natural history.
My primary motivation is to help others understand our relationship to the natural world by providing the imagery to stimulate informed discussion.
